The Health and Safety Executive
The official Government site for Health and Safety in England, Wales and Scotland. This site includes a number of free leaflets and information resources that you can download.
The HSE have a microsite about
Scotland due to some differences in the way the legal systems function.

The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI)
This is the Government Website for the Health and Safety Executive in the Northern Ireland.

Fire Safety Information
From the Department for Communities and Local Government, including downloadable version of the official guidance to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Disability Rights Commission
The disability rights commission is the official UK body who deal with the rights of disabled people. This site includes useful information about the Disability Discrimination Act which applies to all places of worship, even if you do not have disabled people normally using your building.

The Information Commissioner
This Website contains information about the Data Protection Act and the forms that you need to fill in for "Notification".

The Arson Prevention Bureau provides information and guidance about Arson Prevention in all walks of life, including Churches and Places of Worship.

Churchcare
Churchcare is run by the Church of England as a 'one-stop shop' for anyone involved in the running of a church. Recommended reading for anyone involved in managing a more traditional church building.

National Churchwatch
An organisation concerned with the security of Places of Worship and personnel.  Useful guidance for both improving security and preventing Arson.

The Workplace Law Network
The Workplace Law Network is a membership site for UK employers and managers, specialising in employment law, health and safety and premises management.

Free membership provides access to the latest news and cases, as well as plenty of information to help you deal with health and safety issues in your working environment.

In addition, there is a lively forum area where you can seek advice and discuss specific issues affecting you.

Workplace Law also offer training, including NEBOSH courses and IOSH courses, to help improve individuals understanding and skills in health and safety.
